The United States National Criterium Championships are held annually and run by the governing body, USA Cycling.
Held each year in Downers Grove, Illinois, the first rider from the United States that crosses the finish line will be considered the "United States National Criterium Champion" and have the right to wear the national champion's jersey.
For 2010, the National Championship will be held approximately 30 miles northeast of Downers Grove, in Glencoe, IL.
